Our mission is to help you get the bed that suits you best. We endeavour to maintain a service that is helpful, accurate and knowledgeable. Our knowledge comes from years of making natural beds. We have a great track record in recomending beds based upon what you tell us about your situation. We will do our utmost to help you find the most comfortable and appropriate bed for your body and preferences. An appropriate bed can often solve sleep pain issues and we take extra care in these cases, but we are not doctors and always recommend that you also visit a medical specialist. Please do not treat our advice as infallible. Please research widely online and ask others for advice. If we make a mistake please let us know as soon as possible. If we have misinformation on this website please let us know and we will correct it as soon as possible.
We completely guarantee the manufacturing quality of our products for the following terms:
- Dorsal mattresses come with a 10 year warranty.
- Full latex mattresses have a 10 year warranty.
- All bed frames come with a 10 year warranty.
- Futon mattresses have a 5 year warranty.
- Topper pads have a 5 year warranty.
- Covers have a 5 year warranty.
- All other products have a 1 year warranty.
We do not provide a warranty against mould, mildew, soiling, bed wetting, accidental damage, or any damage caused through improper cleaning or storage.
We offer a 7 day trial on all our standard sized products. If you are not satisfied with your product let us know within 7 days. You will receive a refund of the price you paid for the product once we receive it back without damage. This includes all product variations offered as selections on this website like custom densities of latex choices, timber choices, timber finish choices and product colour choices. This trial does not include freight to your address which we will not refund. We will pay for the freight back from your address ourselves.
We do not provide a trial for any product with custom dimensions, beds with custom alterations to the design, and products with extra features. We do not provide a trial for products not on our website (like pet beds, custom made pillows, furniture covers and furniture cushions).
We offer a 14 day exchange for all standard sized latex and sunflower mattresses. We will exchange the returned mattress for a new latex or sunflower mattress of the same size once we receive it back without damage. We will pay for freight back from your address. You will need to pay the additional freight charge (which will differ depending on the new product) for delivery of the new product to your address.
We offer a 90 day swap period on all Seraphic latex layers. We pay for freight both to and back from your address. You will have to package the layer suitable for return freight. We will not swap damaged layers, unless covered by the warranty.
Please check your product for damage prior to signing the freight company’s acceptance form. Signing confirms to the freight company that the product has arrived in good order. However, we do understand that it is not always possible to tell there is freight damage until later. We require that you advise us of product damage within 48 hours of signing for freight acceptance. If so, we will replace the broken aspect of the product, or if a replacement part cannot be applied, we will replace the entire product.
We make most of the products on this website by hand once we receive the order. We complete crafting most orders within 14 days, often much sooner. Occasionally during busy times we may take longer than 14 days.
Your privacy and security is sacrosanct to us. We will never sell your personal information including email and contact data and we will never share your personal information with others, except where required to by law. You have the right to access, correct and remove any of your personal information that we have in our database, as per the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993.
Payments made on this website are processed on a Payment Express server that links to bank servers over an encrypted link. We do not record or even see your credit card information or bank details.
For technical reasons and bank policy, refunds must be returned through the same manner as the purchase was made.
All prices include GST and are in New Zealand dollars. We may change our prices at any time. All quotes are valid for one week.
Please let us know about any incorrect information on this website and we will correct it.
Photos of timber, fabric colours and fabric patterns may vary from what you receive. This is not just because of monitor variations, every piece of timber has a different grain, fabric colours vary in production, and we use different suppliers for our fabric so the pattern may change (although the material composition will remain the same). If you don’t like the colour or look of your order when you receive it, let us know within 48 hours and we will replace it if we can provide an alternative.
Delivery by Natural Beds or by Freight Company
We offer freight charges at our cost price. Alternatively, we will personally deliver and set up your bed from Orewa to Bombay for $50.
