The Organic Latex 5 is a safe and comfortable mattress designed to promote healthy sleep. The mattress is made entirely from organic latex making it a non-toxic, safe and temperature regulating mattress.

Carefully tested for quality and durability

We have carefully tested a wide variety of latex, with differing densities and thicknesses to assure the Organic Latex 5 is safe, supportive and comfortable for your child. This high purity latex contours gently to baby's weight and compresses evenly to create a consistent surface that allows baby to sleep comfortably on their back. This organic latex is wrapped with 300gsm of organic wool woven into a breathable organic cotton and bamboo cover.

Handmade in New Zealand

We make all of our Organic Latex Mattresses to order. Infant mattresses should fit snugly into the frame, without leaving any gaps. If you want to place a custom order, simply measure the inner sides of your frame and contact us for a quote. We make all of our latex mattresses in our workshop in Oratia. 

Care

Our customer feedback suggests that out organic latex bassinets are used for up to one year with each child. We expect the latex foam itself to last for over twenty years, retaining its shape and elasticity. The quilted cover can be unzipped and dry cleaned. Do not wash as this will cause the wool to shrink. 

Organic

The latex in this mattress is 100% organic and has been certified by GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) to be ethically and sustainably grown in Sri Lanka. The wool is certified GOTS organic, sourced from Southdown sheep raised on New Zealand free range farms. The cover fabric is a blend of organic cotton and bamboo that combines breathability and strength.
